의학도서관 웹페이지를 통한 연구지원서비스 현황 분석: 의과대학교 도서관 중심으로

Abstract

Purpose:

Medical libraries need to provide quality academic information services to researchers engaged in the field of medicine more than anything else. For this reason, the library's web page (Web page) is an effective means of aggregating library resources and services. In this research, after investigating and analyzing the actual state of information service provided for research support provided in the web page of the medical library, based on this information, basic materials contributing to revitalization of medical library information services, I will try to provide it.

Methods:

I examined the current status of research support services by accessing 52 libraries of the medical university in the medical special library belonging to the Korea Medical Library Association and accessing the web pages of each library. The service categorized as user education, liaison, information retrieval service, theme information service, dissertation preparation guide, manuscript proofreading service, institutional repository, statistics support, multimedia production, english proofing service.

Results:

Medical library (98.1%) was most active in user education (98.1%). To the Next, 46.2% of the organizations surveyed provided theme information services, followed by institutional repository 32.7%, dissertation preparation guide 30.8%, information retrieval service 26.9%, and manuscript proofreading service 15.4%.

Conclusion:

In the library web pages, medical library libraries were most actively engaged to maximize the utilization of their collections, and they were interested in building a repository to promote research results. And the library was doing various services to provide substantial support to the publication of research papers by researchers.
