Abstract

The purpose of this study is to inspire to need and provide a basic data for the estabilishment of medical information netweork in Korea.

Therefore, the writter searches for the theory of medical information network and takes example by the present condition in the united states.

As a result, medical information network copes with the various information need of many users as a combined and effective information delivery means. Furthermore, it is believed to be carried out plural role in medical library.

Finally, the writter urges to establish medical information network in order to implement devoted role of the medical library in Korea and its development.
