Abstract

The role of medical librarians to support research is expanding. Therefore, in order to elaborate the rules of authorship and to emphasize transparency according to the flow of reinforcement of publishing ethics among the current trends in publishing medical journals. Author unique registration system ORCID and the role of the author was defined using the taxonomy classification system CrediT. Also as the number of clinical studies increased, the concept of clinical research registration and research data disclosure and the concept of utilizing it were examined through WHO ICTRP, ClinicalTrials.gov, CRIS (Clinical Research Information Service) and CODA (Clinical & Omics Data Archive).
